Built on deep clinical expertise
FreeBC is an initiative of Upstream USA, the nation’s leading nonprofit exclusively dedicated to ensuring quality contraceptive care is available when and where you need it.
We don’t just talk about better care; we build it. Our mission is powered by more than a decade of experience and a deep commitment to putting patients first.
- We’ve helped improve care for over 1 million patients across the country, with a goal to reach 5 million by 2030. For over 10 years, our team of clinical experts has partnered with more than 250 healthcare organizations to provide the training and tools providers need to offer the best patient experience possible.
- We are 100% donor-funded. We do not accept money from pharmaceutical companies or the government, which means our only priority is patients—not profits or politics.
Our work is guided by the latest medical evidence and best practices from the nation’s leading health authorities, including the CDC, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the Society of Family Planning.
FreeBC was developed with the guidance of national experts in reproductive health care.
